AcuRite Iris (5-in-1) sensor features a modular design that allows for the replacement of the upper assembly (includes wind cups & bearings), should it wear or cease to function. If your wind cups are not spinning, and you've confirmed that your sensor is mounted properly, the bearings for the anemometer may be worn and will require replacement.
